Oil has settled some and is in between the highs and lows with the MACD. My suspicion is the disaster in South Texas may stop any decline with oil. Gold chart below.

Gold and Silver have stayed embedded
We have a long weekend so it will be interesting to see if Silver and Gold hold up till Tuesday morning open. The daily ( 6 month MACD ) is fairly high but sometimes if the momentum is enough it can stay embedded. The Weekly MACD has room to move higher so it could move higher. What has helped the momentum is the low dollar I believe. At this point it is a guess but the current MoMo is up.
