Here is my thoughts on the current proposed coins for the 100 yr anniversary in 2016. I would like to see them all in a set. No singles. Another is mix it up some, Gold, Silver, Platinum etc. 90% or 100 %.
The three coins mentioned are the Walking Liberty Half Dollar, Standing Liberty Quarter and the Mercury Dime with the W stamp. A low limit also, say 30 K to 50 K. My preference also would be no clad coins.
2016 could provide several opportunities, the 30 yr anniversary of the American Eagles and the set above for now. Maybe also the American Buffalo in Platinum fractionals as a set suggestion. Just my thoughts for now. I will be looking forward to what the U S Mint decides.
