Coin Selection and pricing comparrisons

You found the coin you want, year type and grade maybe, or your going to purchase silver rounds with preferance to the daily spot prices. Your next step should be comparrisons online along with your local coin shop pricing. Try to do business with them if you can. Otherwise, you want the best price for your money. Be selective, there are reasons why some graded coins sell for more. Eye appeal ! Slab name ( grading company ) and undergraded if possible. With older coins you will find this sometimes. Also with older coins in my opinion any of the top 4 grading companies represent to a degree equal pricing. Newer coins you will see a difference in pricing. For the older coins as an example, Capped bust half dollars you can find undergraded and a wide varience in asking prices. If the price is not there for the year then look at the pricing of other years. In my opion get your best buy and be patient for the year your were really wanting.

Keep in mind if " details " show up on the slabbed description know that the coin has issues that will not bring top dollar, usually about half the price of a no problem coin.
